The Kosovo’s Coach of National Team Albert Bunjaki today at a press conference made public the list of players gathered for 3rd June friendly match against the Faroe Islands in Frankfurt. Present at the conference were the Deputy President of FFK, Mr. Agim Ademi and the Director of representative teams, Mr. Arton Govori. Bunjaki said that the friendly match with Faroe Islands, the first after the accession to FIFA and UEFA comes at the right moment, as in September Kosovo expects to debut in the World Cup qualifications. “I think it is a very good moment for us before the start of World Cup qualifications, given that we were not able to play in March. I watched the last five games of the Faroe Islands and I am not surprised at all by the performances that they had against Greece, inside and abroad, as well as against Hungary and Romania. This proves that everyone is already playing good football, praising the Faroe Islands as a small team with a big heart. However, I made all preparations, carried out the analysis of the rival and tomorrow, along with my assistant, Muharrem Sahiti will depart for Frankfurt, “said Bunjaki. He further expressed his satisfaction with the group of players he has in his availability, as they are young and quality players. The selector stressed that Kosovo is not feared of any national team regardless of
which group they will be in qualifications. “It is not an easy situation for us, because after three months will be in the World Cup qualifications and still do not know which group we are. This
is difficult, particularly for me as a selector, but I feel myself very well with the group of players who are new players and have no fear of any group, but definitely, we must have experience and patience, “said Bunjaki.
