24 February 2017 – The President of FFK, Mr. Fadil Vokrri with his collaborators, the FFK Vice President, Agim Ademi and the FFK Secretary General, Mr. Eroll Salihu received at the FFK offices the Former President of Croatia, Mr. Stipe Mesic. Thanking for the visit, President Vokrri briefed Mr. Mesic on the beginning of Kosovo football independence since 1991, and the complete journey full of sacrifices to the admission of FFK to UEFA and FIFA. Further, Vokrri spoke about Kosovo leagues, national teams and the organizational structure of FFK. During the cordial meeting, President Vokrri and the former President of Croatia, Mr.Mesic evoked memories of the past. After the meeting, before the media Mr. Mesic said: “I am happy that today I met the President of FFK, Mr. Fadil Vokrri, who introduced me to all of Kosovo’s football development. You have played in improvised football fields but your will has made you today have the national teams and everything other countries have. I met Mr. Vokrri once in Belgrade, I in another function and him in another function. It was always nice. “Meanwhile, President Vokrri said: “I thank Mr. Mesic for his visit. The Croatian Football Federation helped us a lot in our accession to international institutions same as the Croatian state helped Kosovo a lot. The FFK and the Croatian Football Federation have good relations and they continue to cultivate and deepen more and more”.
