12 August 2017 – The champion team, Trepça’89 has won the Super Cup of Kosovo as in the match played today in Gjilan, defeated the winner of Kosovo Cup, Besa, with a convincing score 5: 0. Trepça’89 had a very good performance, especially in the second half, in which it completely dominated the team from Peja, which is going through a difficult period on the eve of the new edition of the Vala Super League. Trepça’89 took the lead in the 43rd minute, with a goal scored by Henry Chibueze. Earlier in the 22nd minute, Shpëtim Idrizi hit the crossbar of Besa’s goal. The lead to 2: 0 was added by Shpëtim Idrizi in the 57th minute, when he scored by head after the Chibueze’s strike. Arbnor Muja continued in the 78th minute, Florent Hasani in the 85th minute and Oto John in the 90th minute with the series of goals. Medals for Besa were handed over by the FFK’s EC member, Bekim Rexhepi, while the medals for the winning team, Trepça’89 were handed over the Secretary General, Eroll Salihu. Finally, the trophy of the Super Cup was handed over to captain of Trepça’89, Shpëtim Idrizi by the Vice President of FFK, Agim Ademi.
