8 November 2017 – The President of FFK, Mr. Fadil Vokrri as the traditions requires, organized lunch today for the delegation of the Israeli Football Association composed of Raz Kinstlich, Eli Rozen and David Alagdem in the Emerald Hotel. Along with President Vokrri, present were also the Secretary General, Mr. Eroll Salihu, members of the Executive Committee, Mr. Bakir Burri and Mr. Xhelal Broja and the Technical Director, Mr. Michael Nees. During this lunch, the FFK President introduced to the guests the development of Kosovo football and the difficulties faced up to UEFA and FIFA membership. On this occasion, President Vokrri stressed that regardless the fact that in some respects our two countries have some political difficulties, it is the sport that has brought us together. “The history of both Kosovo and Israel is similar because the peoples of both countries have gone through difficult times. Therefore, I invite you to feel as if you are at your home and hope that our relations will deepen even further in the future. Following the UEFA and FIFA membership we are nowadays recovering and improving the infrastructure. I hope you will feel good during these days you will stay in Kosovo and together enjoy a fair and enjoyable match ” President Vokrri said, wishing for the tomorrow’s match to be strong, fair and enjoyable.
On the other hand, Eli Rozen thanked President Vokrri for his warm hospitality and expressed the most sincere congratulations that Kosovo is already part of UEFA and FIFA. “I thank you from heart for the hospitality you have showed to us. The hotel where we are accommodated, the care of your staff, security and everything else is at the highest possible level. I promise you that we will try to make the same hospitality in the return match to Israel, ” Eli Rozen said.
