In the last minutes despite the maximum engagement and the numerical lead in the field, our players failed to find the well-deserved goal and thus recorded the first draw for the seventh point in Group 5. Kosovo U21 will play the upcoming matches at home against Azerbaijan and Germany in March next year.
Declared after the match:
Rafet Prekazi: After that knockdown our boys experienced in Mitrovica against Israel, they showed tonight a very good game where they completely dominated the opponent as with the ball possession as well as creating chances. They still need a little more experience because at this level to miss five or six chances, all from built actions, believe me that in the end I thought we could lose as in other matches. The result is unrealistic with what was shown in the field. We misused many chances but I still say that these boys are the near and certain future of Kosovo.
Florian Loshaj: We had many chances but we did not have luck. If we scored goal in the beginning, we would have had more space because they would have been under pressure. In defence we were better. With this game we can make a lot of progress in the future. It is important that we all know what we want and now we will play better match after match.
