6 December 2017 – The draw for the European Championship 2018/2019 for U-17 and U-19 national teams was cast today at the UEFA HQ in Nyon, Switzerland and the draw for the elite cycle for U-19 national teams for the European Championship “Finland 2017-18″. The draw was attended by Mr. Artan Govori, Director of Foreign Affairs and Director of National Teams, and Mr. Michael Nees, Technical Director in FFK. In the 13 groups the national teams U-17 have been distributed, Kosovo’s National Team is in the 5th group with Scotland, Switzerland and Cyprus, while the matches are scheduled to take place from 26 September to 1 October 2018 in Cyprus. Meanwhile, the U-19 National Team is in the 7th group with Austria, Hungary and Slovenia, while the matches take place from 10 to 16 October 2018 in Hungary.
Meanwhile, Kosovo’s U-19 National Team that qualified for the elite cycle in pre-qualifiers in Austria for European Championship 2017-18, learned today the elite cycle opponents, included in the group with Portugal, the Republic of Ireland and Slovenia, while matches will be played from 21 March to 27 March 2018, where only the country that takes the first place in the group qualifies for the European Championship to be held in Finland from 16 to 29 July 2018.
