5 January 2018 – In the framework of preparations for the spring season of competitions in the Kosovo Football Championship, the Commission of Football Referees launched today a two-day workshop for controllers. This workshop is being held under the auspices of FIFA instructor and responsible for the UEFA Referees Convention for Kosovo, Mr. Alan Snoddy and aims to see the progress of controllers from the previous test workshop. A minute of silence in memory of two former colleagues, Shemsi Humolli, Beqir Hoxha and Përparim Cërmjani was held before the start of the workshop. Meanwhile, the attendees were greeted by the Vice-President of FFK and responsible for referees issues Mr. Agim Ademi who emphasized that FFK is committed to professional capacity building of referees and controllers as a very important segment in the running of the competitions.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Referees Commission, Mr. Përparim Hasani before the attendees said: “We as the Commission have a program of education and professionalization of referees and controllers and we will strive to achieve our objectives in this regard and for this we have great support from President Vokrri, EC of FFK as well as from UEFA and FIFA. However, I ask from you all the greatest and professional commitment. “
