26 February 2018 – The capital of Slovakia, Bratislava, is hosting the regular meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee and the 42nd UEFA Ordinary Congress that is attended also by the FFK delegation led by the President Fadil Vokrri, Vice-President Agim Ademi and the Secretary General Eroll Salihu.
The Executive Committee chaired by the UEFA President, Alexander Ceferin adopted on Sunday the fifth cycle of the UEFA Hat Trick support program in favor of 55 football associations.
The HatTrick-V will function from 2020 to 2024. This program was launched in 2004 and is funded by the European Championships revenues and has become one of the major solidarity and development initiatives ever to be founded by a sports body.
Meanwhile, UEFA held its regular congress today in Bratislava. The congress was greeted by the Slovakian Prime Minister, Robert Fico, FIFA President, Gianni Infantino and the President of the Slovakian Football Association, Jan Kovačik. Initially, the congressional delegates with a minute of silence honored all those football people who passed away between the two congresses, among them being the name of former EC member, Agim Maloku and others who had been honored by FFK with post mortum gratitude.
The delegates adopted the Report of the President of UEFA, the Financial Plan and the Financial Report.
