The Kosovo’s National Team held today in France, under the leadership of the Head Coach, Bernard Challandes, the first two training exercises on the eve of friendly matches with Madagascar and Burkina Faso. The team showed a very good form during the training and a spirit of cooperation and optimism.
Captain Samir Ujkani stated today that the experience gained during the qualifiers has increased and has matured the team and that this was noticed even today during this training. Players today easily followed the coach’s instructions and applied the techniques required by him and this, says Ujkani, comes as a result the players know each-other and already shared experience as part of the Kosovo’s National Team. Ujkani says that despite the fact that they will play friendly matches, they will be very careful and attentive during the match. “We will respect the teams against which we will play. Burkina Faso is by no means an easy team. But with the experience so far, I am optimistic that we will play a good game and the team will show its strength. It should be borne in mind that the power of the team is not the talents as special individuals. The strength of the team comes to the fore when these individual talents of each person coordinate in such a way as to function as a single body. I am confident that the team has reached a high level of coordination. ”
Edon Zhegrova, the player who recently joined the Kosovo’s National Team, says he has found a team that is well-coordinated and expects that in the next two matches will play good games. He states that there was no doubt about the decision to join Kosovo and that the decision about it was completely untouched even by the parents. “I immediately said that Kosovo is the team I will be part of.”
“It’s not that I know very well the game of the two teams against which we will play, but we have to be very attentive throughout the match. I am optimistic that we will play a very good game. “
