14 May 2018 – The Football Federation of Kosovo is determined to continuouslysupport the development of women’s football. In this regard, the member of the EC and the Head of the Commission for Women’s Football Mrs.Vjollcë Krasniqi, together with the Women’s League Manager, Mrs.Valbonë Gashi-Uka and the Executive Assistant to the Secretary General, Mrs.Doruntinë Fetahaj held today a briefing with representatives of women’s football clubs about the support and implementation of the project for the development of women’s football. “One of FFK’s top priorities is the development and the greatest and the best support to female football. Naturally, the FFK will continue through various projects to strongly support women’s clubs in the normal functioning knowing that women’s clubs still do not have proper support in the public, something the clubs must seek through different donors who now under the law on sponsorship will have facilities. Clubs should therefore take this advantage. We as FFK through the projects will do our utmost to keep our clubs in constant support. Thus, according to the UEFA HatTrick Program, we will start as a pilot project and the clubs will be financially supported with sports equipment. The Superliga Clubs will receive support in the amount of 4000 Euros, while the U-16 age group with 2000 Euros in clothing, each. In addition, in order to create much more favorable conditions, the clubs will receive by 1000 Euros for transport “, Mrs. Vjollcë Krasniqi said in her speech.
Representatives of clubs expressed gratitude for this, pledging that they will engage even more in the future in competition progress and massiveness of women’s clubs.
