20 June 2018 – With a minute of silence in honor of the former President, Fadil Vokrri, the FFK Executive Committee commenced its meeting today under the chairmanship of the Vice-President, Agim Ademi. The EC stressed that President Vokrri’s death is a big loss to Kosovo’s football and not just that. However, the EC thinks that the realization of its projects and objectives and all the projects that the former President and the Executive Committee had intended have to be steadily pursued by even feeling it as a double obligation. Thus, the EC today reviewed the overall situation in Kosovo’s football. The FFK management met on Tuesday with the UEFA officials and inspectors who visited the Prishtina Stadium where they presented their concerns about the course of works suggesting a greater commitment of FFK, MCYS and contractors in the way so that the works are completed as soon as possible. The EC talked to continue with the start of the implementation of construction projects in 12 football pitches as well as the Training Center in Obiliq. The EC, however, thinks that the top priority is still the renovation of the Prishtina stadium as a necessity for qualifying matches of the National Team “A” for the League of Nations.
