24 October 2021 – Ballkan continues to lead the ranking of the BKT Kosovo Super League in football even after the end of the 12th week. The orange-and-black team from Suhareka won in front of its fans against the reigning champion team, Prishtina, with 2: 0, maintaining the first place in the ranking with 21 points, one more than the two closest followers, Drenica and Gjilan. The first half was equal both in game and in score, although Prishtina played with one player less from the 30th minute, after the exclusion of Makenda with a red card after two yellow cards. The home team used the numerical advantage to the maximum in the second half when they managed to score twice. The score was unlocked by Theophilus Solomon in the 58th minute when he scored with his head after Ermal Krasniqi’s cross. Meanwhile, the latter set the final score with a beautiful goal from distance.
Victory at home and with the same score (2: 0) was scored by Drenica in a duel with Dukagjini. Both goals for the red-and-blacks of Skenderaj were scored by the Brazilian footballer, Dennison, the first from the penalty spot in the 36th minute and the second in the 70th minute. After this win, Drenica maintains the second place with 20 points, as much as Gjilan in the third place while Dukagjini is ranked in the 8th position with 10 points.
Meanwhile, three more matches were played yesterday. Gjilan scored the next win at home, defeating Feronikeli with a close score 1: 0, with the goal of Blerim Krasniqi.
Drita managed to defeat Llapi in Merdar with 3: 1, with the goals of Astrit Fazliu, Hamdi Namani and Marko Simonovski, while the only goal for Llapi was scored by Alban Shillova.
Meanwhile, the penultimate team in the ranking, Ulpiana, achieved important win as visitors against Malisheva with 2: 1, with the goals scored by Santos and Ardi Shala, while the consolation goal for Malisheva was scored by Olluri.
