11 June 2019 – The Kosovo’s U-21 National Team achieved the second consecutive victory in as many matches within the ​2021 European qualifiers. The young Dardans led by Rafet Prekazi defeated Turkey on Tuesday evening at the ” Fadil Vokrri” stadium in the capital in the presence of about 8 thousand viewers with 3: 1. This win enabled Dardans to take the first position in Group 3 with 6 points. Kosovo U-21 gave spectacle with the game and the score, giving lesson to the opponents. The Dardans’ dominance resulted in the 45th minute when Arben Xhemajli scored the first goal. However, with the start of the second half, in just 20 seconds, the guests used our players’ distraction thus equalizing the score to 1: 1 through Halil Dervisoglu. This goal did not empty the fiery desire of our players to win, who thanks to the support of the fans, managed to return the lead in the 72nd minute with Mirlind Daku’s goal. After this goal, Dardans had some very good chances, one of which was the crossbar that denied the goal. However, the goal of calm came in the 90th minute when Lirim Kastrati scored for the Dardans celebration and for the final result to 3: 1. After the match, the young Dardans and coaches led by Rafet Prekazi were congratulated by the FFK President, Agim Ademi and the Executive Committee members, while Bernard Challandes closely congratulated them all.
