10 June 2022 – The Kosovo U21 National Team suffered the deepest loss in this qualifying round for the European Championship 2023. After the victory in Andorra (3: 0), the young Dardanians were defeated by the leader of Group G, England, at “Fadil Vokrri” stadium with 5:0. The English, who have already secured qualification for the European Championship, took this match seriously and finally achieved a convincing win. They took the lead in the second minute with a goal scored by Keane Lewis-Peter. Anthony Gordon increased the lead in the 13th minute. After these two goals, Kosovo had several chances to find the goal but failed to utilise them. With 2: 0, the teams went to the break while the English scored three more times at David Ndreca net in the second half. The figures to 3: 0 were led by Cameron Archer while the same player scored the fourth goal in the 72nd minute. Meanwhile, the final score was sealed by Ilir Krasniqi with an own goal scored in the 85th minute. England leads the group with 25 points, while Kosovo now drops to fourth place with 11 points. The last match in this qualifying campaign is closed by the young Dardanians on 13 June in Elbasan where they will face Albania.
