19 February 2023 – The reigning champion, Ballkan, achieved its second consecutive win in the spring season, namely the 13th in this edition in the Albi Mall Superliga, maintaining a three-point lead at the top of the rankings over the rival team for the title, Drita. However, Ilir Daja’s team suffered a lot against Drenica to win in front of their fans in the 20th week. In fact, it was the Red and Blacks of Skënderaj who scored first when Bintsouka Koxy scored in the 8th minute. However, just like a week ago, this time the win of Ballkan was taken care of by the skilful striker, Albion Rrahmani who initially equalized the numbers in the 25th minute whereas he sealed the win after Gripshi’s assist in the 88th minute. The other match that was played today between Gjilan and Malisheva produced goals but no winners. After a very interesting game at the end, the teams were divided equally 2:2. Malisheva was in the lead twice but in both cases, Gjilanis managed to come back. Ronald Sobowale (18′) and Bleart Tolaj (64′) scored for the visitors while for Gjilan the goals were scored by Albert Dabiqaj (30′) from the penalty and Mevlan Zeka (80′) who missed from the penalty spot but the ball expelled by the goalkeeper, he sent it into the net. The same footballer scored a header from close range in extra minutes but the goal was cancelled by VAR, as it was previously offside. Even after this tie, Gjilan continues to hold the third place with 29 points while Malisheva ranks eighth with 20 points. The other three matches were played on Saturday where Drita defeated Dukagjini with 5:1, Llapi was better than Trepça’89 (2:1) while Ferizaj defeated Prishtina (1:0). Matches of the 21st week will be played midweek.
