28 May 2023 – Ballkan has been crowned with the title of champion for the 2022/23 edition of competitions in the Albi Mall Super League of Kosova in football. The team from Suhareka celebrated the second title in the history of the club before their fans after the last game of the season against Gjilan (0:0) as they had secured the title two rounds earlier. The President of FFK, Agim Ademi along with the Mayor of the Municipality of Suhareka, Bali Muharremaj and the General Director of Albi Mall, Sutki Humolli handed over the champion’s trophy to the two captains of the team, Edvin Kuç and Armend Thaçi while the medals for the champions were distributed by the Member of the EC of FFK, Mirsad Çollaku and the Secretary General, Taulant Hodaj.
Ballkan defended the champion’s title by closing the edition with 73 points, three points more than the closest follower, Drita.
Meanwhile, from the elite, after Drenica, Trepça’89 too was greeted with the results of today’s matches, which, despite the victory against Prishtina (2:1), did not manage to avoid the ninth place, as Ferizaj also won the duel with Dukagjini (2:1).
Thus, in the tie match for remaining in the Super League, Ferizaj will play against the team from the First League, Liria.
In the next edition, Feronikeli’74 and Fushë Kosova will play in the Super League as they managed to be announced champions in the First League in their respective groups.
