3 August 2023 – The champion of Kosovo, FC Ballkani is the only Kosovar team that will continue its journey in the UEFA Conference League. The team from Suhareka scored a victory in the return match against the team from Northern Ireland, FC Larne, with 4:1, securing passage to the third stage of this competition, where they will face Lincoln Red Imps from Gibraltar.

The first two goals for Ballkan were scored by Nazmi Gripshi (27′, 36′) after Albion Rrahmani’s assist, while the latter scored at the start of the second half after Almir Kryeziu’s assist. The hosts narrowed the score in the 59th minute from the penalty by Lee Bonis, while Almir Kryeziu set the final numbers in the 66th minute.

Meanwhile, Drita showed an excellent performance in “Fadil Vokrri” in a duel with the well-known Czech team, Viktoria Plzen, but in the end suffered a defeat with a goal in the 113th minute. In those moments, Drita had two less players on the field after the exclusion of Blerim Krasniqi and Besnik Krasniqi, after the punishments with second yellow cards. The Czechs took the lead with Rafiu Durosimi’s goal in the 76th minute. However, Drita reacted in the second extra minute with Besnik Krasniqi’s goal. When it was expected that the match would continue, a penalty was awarded to Plzen when Besnik Krasniqi played with his hand inside the area. Erik Jirka was accurate from the penalty when the 113th minute was taking place. This match had 19 extra minutes because during the match, on two occasions, there were problems with one of the reflectors in the stadium.

On the other hand, Dukagjini suffered a deep loss with 6:1 as visitors in a duel with the Croatian team, Rijeka.
