2 April 2023 – Drita defeated Drenica (3:0), on Sunday in Gjilan within the 27th round of the Albi Mall Superliga. With this win, Drita returned to the first place in the ranking with 55 points, one more than the current champion, Ballkan. Meanwhile, Drenica remains last in the table with 23 points and with increasingly small hopes of avoiding relegation from the elite. Drita struggled to break Drenica’s resistance, although the Reds-and-Blacks are left with one player less on the field in the 36th minute after the dismissal of Agim Zeka. Leonat Vitija unlocked the numbers in the 58th minute while Blend Baftiu (76′) and Muharrem Jashari (79′) scored too. In the next match on Sunday, Dukagjini defeated Ferizaj at “18 Qershori” stadium in Klina with 3:1. Dukagjini took the lead first with Behar Bardhi’s goal scored in the seventh minute. However, Dukagjini came back quickly, equalizing the numbers after three minutes with Victor Hugo’s goal. Meanwhile, in the second half, Dukagjini capitalized on the complete dominance with two goals, scored by Marclei Santos (59′) and Oto John (76′). Dukagjini returns to the sixth place in the Superliga standings with 35 points and now remains only five points away from the third place, thus sending it to the Conference League. Meanwhile, Ferizaj continues to stay in the penultimate place with 28 points.

Three other matches were played on Saturday. The reigning champion, Ballkan won in the derby of the week against Gjilan, with 2:0, ending the negative streak of four draws and one loss. Meriton Korenica unlocked the result in the 20th minute while the best scorer of this edition in the elite, Albion Rrahmani, sealed the victory in the 61st minute.

Prishtina returned to “Fadil Vokrri” stadium with a victory. The team led by Debatik Curri achieved the third win in a row, this time defeating Trepça’89 with a convincing result of 4:1. The players from Mitrovica scored first with Ardian Muja’s goal in the 30th minute but in the second half the blues-and-whites of the capital managed to overturn everything with the goals scored by Albin Prapashtica (53′), Bujar Pllana (56′ and 66′) and Shefit Shefiti (85′). Llapi also scored an important win in front of their fans who defeated Malisheva at “Zahir Pajaziti” stadium with 1:0. The Mexican footballer Francisco Rivera scored the goal in the 79th minute.
