5 July 2020 – The leading team of the Ipko Super League of Kosovo, Drita, continued the series of victories in the 28th week. This time the team led by Ardian Nuhiu scored an important win as guests at the “Zahir Pajaziti” stadium in Podujeva, defeating Llapi with 4: 0. This way, Drita maintains the lead of 4 points at the top of the ranking of the closest follower, Prishtina. Goals for Drita were scored by Mërgim Pefqeli (8 ‘-own goal), Kastriot Rexha (14’), Erjon Vucaj (83 ‘) and Izair Emini (88’). Meanwhile, Prishtina two days earlier defeated Drenica with great difficulty at “Fadil Vokrri” stadium with 1: 0. The goal was scored by Ahmed Januzi in the limits of extra time of the match. Victory in the trip to keep up with the leader was also achieved by Ballkan and Gjilan, defeating Dukagjini and Feronikeli respectively. Meanwhile, Trepça’89 used the false step of Flamurtari in Vushtrri (2: 2) and Drenica in the capital, defeating Ferizaj with 5:2 thus increasing the hopes for survival when there are still 5 weeks until closing of the championship.
