19 March 2023 – Even today’s three matches within the 26th round in Albi Mall Super Liga of Kosova in football brought interesting and exciting matches. The reigning champion, Ballkan, after being eliminated in the quarterfinals of the cup by Prishtina, failed to get more than one point this weekend as visitors against Ferizaj (0:0). Thus, after this week, the team Suhareka remain in second position with one point less than Drita.
The match between Gjilan and Llapi also ended without a winner, but here both teams scored twice each. Gjilan took the lead in the 4th minute, with Dabiqaj’s goal. However, Llapi’s response was quick as Augusto equalized in the 17th minute from a free kick. The hosts managed to restore the lead in the 61st minute with Kelmendi’s goal and the Llapjans managed to equalize again in the last minutes of the match, this time with Rivera’s goal.
Meanwhile, Trepça’89 earned three very important points in the fight for survival. They defeated Dukagjini at the “Riza Lushta” stadium with 2:1. Oyekanmi scored the first goal for Trepça in the 6th minute, creating an early lead for his team. In the second half, Trepça continued to play at a high level and scored the second goal in the 80th minute through Muja. Dukagjini did not give up and scored a goal in the 84th minute through Haliti, making the end of the match dramatic, but the remaining minutes were not enough to avoid defeat. Today’s three matches started with a minute of silence in honour of the famous ex-footballer from Mitrovica, Sadik Rrahmani who passed away on Sunday.
Two matches were played on Saturday where Prishtina scored a victory as visitors against Drenica (1:0) while Malisheva and Drita drew (0:0).
