21 September 2019 – The Football Federation of Kosovo, like other UEFA members, has begun its activities to mark “Grassroots Week”. In fact, under the basic Grassroots football program, all UEFA members hold the ‘Grassroots Week’ festival every year in September. In marking of this week, the FFK, under the auspices of ‘Grassroots’ manager, Sanije Krasniqi and coaches of this program, organized today an activity with school children from the Prishtina Region at FC Rilindja stadium. Children of different ages had fun playing football, grouped together, boys and girls. The purpose of these activities is to have a football impact on the community and to encourage the participation of children of all ages to get involved in sports and enjoy the beautiful game of football. Activities of this kind will continue in the future, while the next station will be Mitrovica, where the football game will be enjoyed by children with special needs.
