7 June, 2019 – The Kosovo’s National Team in football continued the 13th match unbeaten, while equalized 1: 1 against Montenegro in Podgorica on Friday in the qualifying match for Euro 2020 that was played without the presence of fans as the Montenegrin Federation was penalized by UEFA due to racist calls in the last game against England. Our players started the match very well and managed to advance in the 23rd minute with the goal scored by Milot Rashica. With this lead, Dardans went on break but things for the team led by Bernard Challandes got worse when Arber Zeneli had to leave the pitch due to an injury. Even in the second half, our players managed the game and up to the 69th minute saved the successful lead. However, our team was penalized by Montenegrins when Stefan Mugosha equalized to 1: 1. In the remaining minutes the game took place mainly in the Montenegrin side of the pitch but despite the created chances, Rashica, Muriqi and Zhegrova did not find the winning goal. For Dardans this was the second consecutive draw in the Euro 2020 qualifiers, following the draw with Bulgaria in Prishtina.
