25 March 2023 – The Kosovo’s National Team collected an important point as visitors at the opening of the qualifying campaign for Euro 2024 within Group I. The Dardanians drew with Israel with 1:1 on Saturday at the “Bloomfield” stadium in Tel Aviv, Israel. The match was at a high pace where the hosts exerted pressure towards Arijanet Muriqi’s goal from the beginning, supported by around 29.000 fans. However, Dardanians managed the match well and even managed to take the lead with an own goal scored by Eli Dasa in the 36th minute after Rashica’s cross. The Dardanians went to the break with a one-goal lead as they started the second half quite well. Milot Rashica scored in the 49th minute. However, the referee cancelled the goal after reviewing the VAR for playing with hand. It did not take long and Israel managed to equalize the numbers with Dor Peretz’s goal when the 56th minute was taking place. In the remaining minutes, both teams had several chances but Milot Rashica missed the best chance in the extra minutes when he shot over the goal from close range. There was no lack of support from Dardanians fans even in this match. In symbolic numbers, they had travelled from Kosovo and different countries of the world to support our boys.

Kosovo will play its next match on 28 March against Andorra at the “Fadil Vokrri” stadium.
