16 May 2021 – Prishtina was crowned with the title of the Super League champion a week before the end of the 2020/21 competitive edition. The whites-and-blues of the capital scored a victory as a guest against Gjilan with 2: 1 in the 35th week, reaching the quota of 78 points, which secured them the first place. Thus, Prishtina returns the title of champion in the capital after 8 years, while this is the 11th champion trophy in the history of this club. The winning goals for Prishtina were scored by Gledi Mici from the penalty spot in the 15th minute and Qëndrim Zyba, in the 40th minute, while the only goal for Gjilan was scored by Arbër Çyrbja (53′).
The ceremony of awarding medals and the trophy to the champions was attended by the President of FFK, Agim Ademi, the Secretary General, Eroll Salihu and members of the FFK EC, Ismajl Ajeti and Naser Ajeti.
While the champion team is crowned, the drama for the runner-up position which sends them to European competitions and the fight for survival remains unclear and everything will be decided in the last week’s matches.
