13 February 2022 – The spring season in the BKT Super League of Kosova in football has started. The 19th week has brought very interesting matches where the winter champion, Gjilan, collected only one point as a visitor of Drenica in Skenderaj, with 1: 1. This score cost Ismet Munish’s team the loss of the first place. The red-and-blacks from Skenderaj took the lead with Kreshnik Uka’s goal in the 25th minute from penalty, awarded after VAR review. However, Gjilan managed to equalize in the 72nd minute with the goal scored by Shend Kelmendi.
Meanwhile, the other two top teams, Ballkan and Drita started the spring season furiously. Ballkan defeated Dukagjini at home with 4: 1, with goals scored by Meriton Korenica (18 ‘), Armend Thaqi (29’), Kushtrim Gashi (63) and Mevlan Zeka (84), while the goal of honor for the team from Klina was scored by Altin Merlaku (80 ‘). On the other hand, Drita, as expected, marked an easy win against Feronikeli (7: 0), a team which plays mainly with new players due to the financial crisis. The hat-trick was scored by Hamdi Namani (4 ‘, 29’ and 45 ‘), while Marko Simonovski (54’), Arbnor Muja (74 ‘), Almir Kryeziu (81’) and Ilir Blakqori (87 ‘) scored one goal each. After this win, Drita is positioned in first place.
Meanwhile, Llapi returned after a long time to “Zahir Pajaziti”, where before the match with Ulpiana were inaugurated the works carried out in the stadium, where already created very favorable conditions for football, thanks to the support of FFK. The return to home has been successful for Tahir Batatina’s team, which managed to defeat Ulpiana with 2: 0. The winning goals for Llap were scored by Alban Shillova in the 53rd minute and Çlirim Avdulli (own goal) in the 63rd minute.
Meanwhile, in the other match, Malisheva defeated Prishtina at “Liman Gegaj” stadium with 2: 1, with the goals scored by Mërgim Pefqeli (75 ‘) and Ilir Mustafa (90 + 4’), while the honor goal for Prishtina was scored by Besnik Krasniqi (90 + 6 ‘) from penalty.
