20 June 2023 – The Kosova’s U21 National Team has started the qualifying cycle for Euro 2025 with a victory. Afrim Tovërlani’s team, on Tuesday evening, at “Fadil Vokrri” stadium, defeated Estonia with 2:0. The junior Dardanians dominated the match from the start, created numerous scoring chances in front of the opponents’ goal. Kosova’s good game was crowned with a goal in the 40th minute when Arian Llugiqi scored from close range. With a one-goal lead, the young Dardanians went to the break. It was Kosova in the second half that managed the game better and created more actions, of which they managed to score a goal. It was the 70th minute when Andi Hoti scored with a header, sealing the final score of this match. Thus, Kosova U21 collected full points in the first match of Group D, as the next matches will be played in September. First, on 8 September, they will play as visitors to Germany and then on 12 September they will play against Germany in “Fadil Vokrri” stadium. This group also includes Israel and Bulgaria.
