18 January 2023 – The Minister of Sports, Hajrulla Çeku and President Agim Ademi with their associates met today the President of UEFA, Aleksandar Çeferin at the UEFA HQ in Nion. The topic of discussion was the issue of football infrastructure throughout Kosovo. On this occasion, Minister Çeku unveiled the 5-year plan of the ministry he directs, the construction of new stadiums and renovation of existing stadiums in our country. According to this project, Kosovo will have in future 4 stadiums of UEFA fourth category, seven stadiums of second category and 12 local stadiums. The UEFA President evaluated the presented project as very good and emphasized that they will find ways for participation and financial support within the HatTrick Program and from other UEFA funds. President Ademi and Minister Çeku thanked the President of UEFA for the warm reception and for his willingness to support the idea of this project in all forms and for the continuous support he is providing to Kosovo football.
