21 May 2022 – Vushtrri passed the first obstacle of the draw in its intention to return to the elite. After failing to secure a return ticket to the Super League through the regular season, Vushtrri won the First League draw on Saturday against Prizren’s Liria, gaining another chance to seek a return to elite society through the draw, with the team that will close the Super League championship in eighth place.
In the match played at “18 Qershori” stadium in Klina, Vushtrri won after penalties with 5: 3, because the match in regular time and after extra time was closed 1: 1. Even the goals during regular time were scored from the penalty. Prizrenis took the lead first when Liridon Fetahaj scored from 11 meters in the 5th minute of the first half extra time. However, the figures were equalized by the Vushtrri’s captain, Liridon Osmani, also from the penalty in the 53rd minute.
Meanwhile, in the series of penalties, Vushtrri were more efficient, while Viktor Kuka failed for Liria, who shot over the goal.
Vushtrri will learn tomorrow the name of the opponent of the 28 May match that will take place at “Zahir Pajaziti” stadium when the matches of the last week take place in the BKT Super League.
